Privacy Policy

HD Technology Group LLC (“we,” “us”) operates TCG Tote, a mobile application for tracking physical inventory of sealed trading card product. This policy describes what information the application collects and how it is handled.

1Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a cryptographic hash of your password. We do not store your password in readable form.

Inventory data. The application stores the information you enter about your collection: products, quantities, storage containers and locations, movement history between locations, purchase costs, and dates. This data is entered by you and is associated with your account.

Camera access. The application requests access to your device camera solely to scan QR codes printed on storage container labels. Images are processed on your device to read the code and are not captured, stored, or transmitted to our servers or any third party. You may deny camera access; the application remains usable, and codes can be entered manually.

2Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect analytics or usage telemetry. We do not use advertising identifiers, third-party trackers, or marketing pixels. We do not collect your device location. We do not access your photo library, contacts, or other applications.

3Market Pricing Data

The application displays estimated market values for catalog products. This pricing data is sourced from PriceCharting and is stored on our servers as periodic price snapshots.

Pricing data flows in one direction: into the application. Your inventory data — what you own, where you store it, what you paid, and when you acquired it — is never transmitted to PriceCharting or to any other pricing provider, data broker, or third party.

4How Your Data Is Stored and Used

Your data is stored on cloud infrastructure operated by third-party service providers acting as processors on our behalf. These providers supply computing, storage, and database services under contract and do not have independent rights to your data.

Your inventory is private to your account. We use your data only to operate the application: to display your collection, calculate values, and maintain your account. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except where required by law or where necessary for a provider to deliver the service described above.

5Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and inventory data for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within thirty days. Some records may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period after deletion, after which they are overwritten in the normal course of backup rotation.

6Your Rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of your account and data. To make a request, contact us at the address below.

7Children

The application is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections between the application and our servers and hashed password storage. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the application after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
